Who we are
RentJetskiMichael is a family-run jet ski rental operating from Restaurant Oceanic, Rruga Mitat Hoxha, Sarandë 9701, Albania. Michael is the owner-operator and the point of contact for every booking.
What we collect
- Booking details — name, phone or WhatsApp number, chosen date, time slot, duration and jet ski count.
- ID at the dock — a valid photo ID (passport or national ID) is checked in person before every ride. We do not photograph or store a copy.
- Messages — the content of the WhatsApp, phone, or contact-form message you send us.
- Site usage — anonymous, aggregated visits to this website (page views, device type, referrer). No advertising cookies.
Why we collect it
- To confirm your reservation and reach you if conditions change.
- To meet Albanian maritime safety rules — riders must be identifiable at the dock.
- To answer questions you send us and improve the ride experience.
Who sees it
Booking data stays with Michael and the on-water team. We do not sell, rent, or share rider information with advertisers. The small set of service providers we use to run the business:
- WhatsApp / Meta — when you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation is delivered through Meta's platform under their own terms.
- Google Maps — the embedded map on the directions page is served by Google; interacting with it is governed by Google's privacy notice.
- Hosting — this website runs on a managed hosting platform that stores only technical logs necessary to serve pages.
How long we keep it
Booking messages are kept as long as needed to run the season and handle any follow-up (typically the current season plus one year, for reconciliation and safety records). You can ask us to delete your data at any time — see below.
Your choices
- Ask for a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything inaccurate.
- Ask us to delete your data (unless we are required to keep it for safety or accounting reasons).
- Withdraw consent for future contact.

Children
Riders must be 16 or older. Passengers under 16 may only ride with a responsible adult after Michael's briefing. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
